GPV PLACES A HIGH PRIORITY ON SAFETY

We provide free information on the location of our pipelines to anyone carrying out planning, drilling or excavations works in close proximity (250M) to the pipeline. This is done through the ‘Before You Dig’ referral service.
Local landowners, contractors and businesses in the area are encouraged to inform us of any activity, buildings or excavation work in the vicinity of our pipelines.
We also encourage landowners to notify us when their property is sold or transferred. This allows us to maintain contact with property owners near our pipeline.
Signs are placed along the pipeline advising that the pipeline is in the vicinity. They may not be directly in line with buried pipe and therefore it is important to contact GPV for more accurate location information, and discuss the pipe location with our pipeline representative(s)
